Across the E46, E90, F30 and G20 generations, the 3 Series has used three injector families: the older Bosch CRI 1.x on the M47 (320d / 318d, 1999-2007), the high-volume Bosch CRI 2.x on the N47 (2007-2014) and the piezo Bosch CRI 3.x on the B47 (2014 onwards).
