Used across the Audi A4 (B7), A6 (C6), A8 (D3) and Q7 (4L), plus the VW Phaeton and Touareg. Common failure drivers on these 3.0 V6 TDI piezo injectors are fuel contamination, internal piezo-stack wear and high back-leakage, which the ECU compensates for until the injector falls outside its correction range. Key symptoms: Hard starting / extended cranking; Rough idle and vibration; Loss of power / limp mode; Black or grey smoke.
