Denso common-rail injector for the GM/Opel 1.7 CDTI (Isuzu-built Circle-L engine, codes A17DTR/Z17DTR, 92 kW / 125 hp) fitted to the Astra H, Corsa D, Meriva and Zafira B. OE 8-97313861-0 (GM short reference 97313861). The injector code must be written to the ECU with GM MDI/Tech2 on fitment. Failures are driven by poor fuel filtration, contamination and back-leakage wear. Key symptoms: Rough idle / vibration; Hard starting; Loss of power / limp mode; Black smoke. Common failure modes: Internal wear / high back-leakage; Water-in-fuel corrosion; Nozzle coking.
