Unlike later EDC16/17 injectors this early CRI1 type carries no injector correction (IMA/IQA) code, so it does not require coding when fitted. Failures are driven by poor fuel filtration, contamination and back-leakage wear. Key symptoms: Rough idle / vibration; Hard starting; Loss of power / limp mode; Black smoke.
